Alena Andrews co-founded Runway Heels in June 2015. As Chief Financial officer, she brings 12 years of commercial banking, marketing strategy and financial experience to the company.

Before Runway, Alena served as a regional commercial banking executive at Bank of America Merrill Lynch both on the West and East coast. At Bank of America Merrill Lynch, she played a key role in in regional sales leadership and financial analysis for the commercial bank and developed branding strategy for consumer and small business banking.

Alena is passionate about the Special Needs Network and Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Alena graduated from San Diego State University and is currently set to graduate in spring of 2016 with an MBA from Loyola Marymount University.
